Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a non-invasive, drug free alternative for pain- and stress-relief. Also known as tapping, EFT is one of several energy therapies that include Healing Touch, Reiki, Qi gong, therapeutic bodywork, and magnet therapy.

EFT belongs to a group of health practices known as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM.) Basically, it is a healing system outside standard medical care. In cancer treatment, EFT is sometimes used as integrative therapy alongside other CAM therapies and conventional medical treatments. It is therapy worth exploring, whether someone has treatable skin cancer or is diagnosed with a more serious rare form of cancer like mesothelioma, integrative therapy serves to bridge the gap that lacks within traditional medicine.
