Who am I?
Inés Alonso García : qualified cranio-sacral therapist and taichi instructor.
What consultations do I offer?
Craniosacral therapy is a hands-on therapy which assists the body’s natural capacity for self-repair. It uses a gentle and non-invasive approach to notice and respond to areas of restriction by listening to subtle rythms in your body. People may come for Craniosacral therapy because they have acute physical problems or long-standing problems both physical and emotional. It can also help in reducing stress and increasing well-being. In a session you will lie, fully clothed on a treatment table. The practitioner makes light contact with your head, the base of your spine or other areas, encouraging your body to relax and begin to make the changes it needs. Because the body functions as a whole, your practitioner may focus on areas other than where your symptoms occur.
I am a fully qualified and experienced craniosacral therapist, registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK http://www.craniosacral.co.uk/
Taichi practice reaches body, mind and spirit. Taichi can improve your general body condition, balance and coordination, it helps reduce stress and increase body and mind relaxation. As an exercise it is gentle and energetic at the same time. Learning taichi can be a lifetime process: although you can feel the benefits as a beginner
there are always new areas to explore and improve upon. It originated as a martial art but its practice now is more focused on health.
I started Taichi about 15 years ago and have trained
intensively since, including a year full time in a dedicated school in China and regular visits since 2007.
