Each set of adorable hand carved Lotus Feet comes with an explanation of its meaning and origin. Approximately 3.5cm in diameter, the colours vary from light cream to deep red and every combination in between depending upon the piece of stone used in its creation. The feet represent Vishnu, protector of the Universe and the lotus represents Laxim, the goddess of wealth and abundance. The Marriage of Vishnu and Laxim is seen as bringing good fortune. The actual Lotus Feet you recieve may vary in colour and shape from the ones in the photograph. Each one is hand carved and unique so no two are ever exactly the same. |
