Singing Bowls and Bells
Singing Bowls are made of 7 metals and can vibrate up to seven individual and simultaneous tones, each at its own consistent frequency, they can sustain a rich vibration for literally minutes.
The singing bowls originated in the pre-Buddhist, shamanic Bon Po culture of the Himalayas - they are made in Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Tibet. They are ‘resting bells’ and, as such, part of the Bell family, dating back to the Bronze Age in China some 4,000 years ago.
